How to select parameters?
Power (PWR/SPH)
Power or sphere refers to the refractive power of the contact lens. Look for a plus (+) or minus (-) sign. Note that an equals sign (=) may be used in place of a minus sign.
- dioptres are for problems with near vision (far-sightedness)
+ dioptres are for problems with distance vision (near-sightedness)
Curvature (BC)
The base curve describes the curvature of the contact lens surface, i.e. how well the lens fits the shape of your eye.
Diameter (DIA)
The diameter is the width of the contact lens (measured in millimeters). It is not recommended to select a new diameter size without first consulting your optician. Diameter impacts the fit, comfort and functionality of your lenses.
Cylinder (CYL)
The cylinder measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. It is a negative value that corrects curvature of the cornea.
Cylinder Axis (AX)
The cylinder axis measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. The value ranges from 0° - 180° and determines the exact position of corneal curvature.
Addition (ADD)
Addition is the difference between the dioptric value for distance vision and the dioptric value for near vision. It indicates the magnifying power in multifocal lenses.

It depends on your eye correction and the recommendation of your eye specialist. An increase of a quarter diopter should not make a big difference, but some individuals are more sensitive to such changes and may see blurred with lenses.

It depends on how strong the astigmatism is, and whether you can see well even without lenses/ glasses. Those lenses, sadly, do not correct astigmatism and work on correcting the vision only.

Very disappointing in the solar blue lenses as there is no solid colour as shown in the image just a very weak transparent bluish tint that would not change the colour of any ones eye as the cool blue ones do. Then to find out when I phoned that nothing can be done as I had opened the tiny piece of sellotape on the box to view the lenses as there was no other physical way to view the lenses I find totally ridiculous.

Being myself astigmatic, I can confirm that these lenses are not suitable,
particularly if yours is strong.
You probably have a Base Curve that makes it difficult to wear them.
On top of it all, Crazy lenses have a very limited prescription choice, as
they are more cosmetic than vision corrective.

They are meant to be worn for a few hours at the time, during parties, etc.

They are quarterly lenses, so they last 3 months after opening. The expiry
date has to be at least 11 months.
As far as the stability is concerned, I have been told that since they are
quite thick, compared to ordinary lenses, they tend to stay in place. Of course
there might be specific reasons, also due to the Base Curve and the Diameter,
that make it more tricky for some.
All in all, these are “fun” lenses and have to be worn for short periods
of time, so it depends on the needs of the wearer.

These lenses are not really for vision correction.
Well, it does depend on how you intend to get to the party…I know of many
people who wear glasses, then take a chance when they reach the event… So, if
it doesn't bother you too much to not be able to see well, you may be able to
have fun wearing the crazy lenses.
Bear in mind that you can't really wear them for longer than a few hours,
anyway.

Hi Luke,
Just don't insert a power, if you don't need to. The BC and Diameter are
fixed, so that should not be a problem.
Bear in mind that these lenses cannot be worn for long periods of time, as
they're not as comfortable as proper contacts.

Hi Shelley, You really should ask such question to your eye doctor. Crazy
lenses are mostly cosmetic and that is why there's a limit to the power you can
have, unfortunately.

Would really like to order the Volturi Contacts to arrive by 29th October, But very confused if they would correct my eye sight, I'm looking at my normal contacts are they say for the right eye is 8.7 14.5 -2.25 -1.75 x010 and right eye 8.7 14.5 -2.00 1.75 x020.... i do have an astigmatism and know not many contacts for halloween etc correct this. but for one evening would this be fine? If i purchased these what would be closest to my normal prescription?

with astigmatism parameters. So, you will have to check with your optician, to
see if he or she recommends you to make a compromise. However, that is not my
decision to take. Please check what your optician would say and I will be happy

I bought the Cat eyes and the Yellow lenses. So far wore the yellow and the effect was AMAZING. I'm a cosplayer so lenses are very important to pull a costume together and these lenses did the job PERFECTLY. You can and you should only store them in solution for a maximum of 3 month
from the day you open them as stated in the Parameters of the lenses.
You should not keep the lenses after the 3 months have past cause you will
probably infect your eyes.

I just ordered these, during the entire process the delivery was always 3-6 days. As soon as I confirmed my order, they show up as out of stock, . No good if they arrive after Halloween. Thinking I had mossed the out of stock notice I logged out and re-ordered. Still no notice that these are out of stock. If they will not arrive before 31st, please cancel my order entirely. not good that your site allows you to oder items that you don't have.

Thank you so much for your comment. The base curve (BC) is the curvature of
the lens and it might coincide with your eye´s. However, it is possible to
choose different ones which are close to yours. I have talked to clients who do
not feel the difference, but we recommend you to ask first to your optician, you
can just call him and ask by phone.

Thank you so much for your comment. If you have the same prescription for
both eyes, you can just buy one box of two lenses. You just need to add, for
example, the information for the right eye and leave the left eye empty as this
is for people who have different dioptrics in each eye. There is no difference
in the shape of the lens, it is just for the dioptrics that we have a space for
the right and left eye.
