How to select parameters?
Power (PWR/SPH)
Power or sphere refers to the refractive power of the contact lens. Look for a plus (+) or minus (-) sign. Note that an equals sign (=) may be used in place of a minus sign.
- dioptres are for problems with near vision (far-sightedness)
+ dioptres are for problems with distance vision (near-sightedness)
Curvature (BC)
The base curve describes the curvature of the contact lens surface, i.e. how well the lens fits the shape of your eye.
Diameter (DIA)
The diameter is the width of the contact lens (measured in millimeters). It is not recommended to select a new diameter size without first consulting your optician. Diameter impacts the fit, comfort and functionality of your lenses.
Cylinder (CYL)
The cylinder measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. It is a negative value that corrects curvature of the cornea.
Cylinder Axis (AX)
The cylinder axis measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. The value ranges from 0° - 180° and determines the exact position of corneal curvature.
Addition (ADD)
Addition is the difference between the dioptric value for distance vision and the dioptric value for near vision. It indicates the magnifying power in multifocal lenses.

The quality of the last pack I ordered was terrible - I had to throw 4 lenses as I was unable to wear them (they hurt my eyes)... So next time I’m ordering from somewhere else because I’m afraid you have a faulty batch :(

The only monthly spheric lenses I have found in our eshop with 8.8 BC, but
with a 14 DIA, are Acuvue Vita https://www.lentiamo.co.uk/…-vita-6.html and Zeiss Contact Day, with 8.8 BC and 14.20 DIA https://www.lentiamo.co.uk/…-lenses.html
However I suggest you consult with a specialist, to find the correct lenses
for you and wear a trial sample, before buying any.

I have been wearing these for many years but it seems as if they don't fit as snugly as they used to (although my biotrue 8.6 BC daily disposables fit perfectly) - does a person's BC measurement change with age? Is there really a big difference between 8.4 and 8.6? Can there be a difference between lens types and materials if they are both 8.6 in practice?

I have had my eyes checked regularly in this time and am pleased to report I have no problems - just a couple of floaters on the lenses themselves which is to be expected considering I have never cleaned them.

Hello, These lenses are of extended wear which means they can be left
in the eye for their entire period of use and do not need to be removed even at
night. They are designed to be replaced every every month. If you have the same
power on both eyes, a box of six lenses will last you three months.
