How to select parameters?
Power (PWR/SPH)
Power or sphere refers to the refractive power of the contact lens. Look for a plus (+) or minus (-) sign. Note that an equals sign (=) may be used in place of a minus sign.
- dioptres are for problems with near vision (far-sightedness)
+ dioptres are for problems with distance vision (near-sightedness)
Curvature (BC)
The base curve describes the curvature of the contact lens surface, i.e. how well the lens fits the shape of your eye.
Diameter (DIA)
The diameter is the width of the contact lens (measured in millimeters). It is not recommended to select a new diameter size without first consulting your optician. Diameter impacts the fit, comfort and functionality of your lenses.
Cylinder (CYL)
The cylinder measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. It is a negative value that corrects curvature of the cornea.
Cylinder Axis (AX)
The cylinder axis measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. The value ranges from 0° - 180° and determines the exact position of corneal curvature.
Addition (ADD)
Addition is the difference between the dioptric value for distance vision and the dioptric value for near vision. It indicates the magnifying power in multifocal lenses.

Hi, Ordered these 15 days ago for my holiday, already been and returned from holiday and they still haven't arrived. I really don't want them now, how do I cancel an order, it seems to be easy to reorder, but not cancel, I also sent an email a week ago explaining the situation and haven't received a reply.. I used to use contact lenses, then I got dry eyes and haven't used them for some long time. But my old ones were BC 8.8 but I can't find any that give you that as an option. Is it that important.

make an advanced search after you click on contact lenses and see all of the
options. Yes, base curve is important if you do not want to experience

I had shingles in my eye 2 years ago with 5 blisters in my eye.the scars are still visable with a sight test but have healed.my eye is still a but sensitive at times.i used to wear monthly lenses all day everyday and was advised to only wear daily now.i dont find them as comfortable but have been recommendedeasyvision daily vitrea by a friend.do you think i would sue

check with your optometrist. He/she should be able to supply you with some
sample lenses to see if daily or monthly lenses work best for your eyes.
