Ing. Petra Průchová
Say hello to Petra, a valuable and highly motivated optometrist at Lentiamo. Petra joined the optical team as a trainee during her university studies and trained under our professional optometrists. Her duties have evolved since becoming a fully qualified optometrist and some of them include:
- Measuring eyes to determine appropriate corrections
- Selecting suitable corrective aids including frames, spectacle lenses and contact lenses
- Assisting with the procurement of new frames
Petra’s key contributions to content at Lentiamo
During her training and since becoming a licensed optometrist, Petra has been actively involved in the creation of our contact lens and eyewear content. She thoroughly understands the processes in which medical content is researched, produced and published. Petra continues to be an unequivocal source of knowledge when it comes to vision and, more specifically, corrective aids.
Education, specialities, and professional experience
Petra received her degree from the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at Czech Technical University whilst simultaneously gaining first-hand experience with Lentiamo’s optical team. She specialises in eye refraction and measurements. Her knowledge of the eyes and vision allows her to expertly recommend appropriate frames and lenses to others.
Professional interests
Petra is interested in sunglasses trends and how they develop and evolve. She rightly believes sunglasses are the perfect accessory as they are both fashionable and practical. As she continues to develop in the field of optometry, Petra always looks forward to new experiences and challenges.
When asked about her favourite part about working at Lentiamo, Petra states that she appreciates that every day is unique. Each day is full of new, interesting people and different things to learn.
